MarĂa Laura Medina de Salinas, a businesswoman, sees the opening of the plant in Jalisco as a symbol of trust in local talent, betting on industrial growth, mobility, and a work environment that values dedication and excellence. She highlighted that 51% of the plant's employees are women, emphasizing that progress is based on talent without distinctions.
The inauguration of Ensamblika Guadalajara, the second assembler of Grupo Salinas in Mexico, has been celebrated by ITALIKA's CEO, Alberto Tanus, as part of a growth strategy that aims to improve the mobility offering in the country through a multi-brand portfolio led by ITALIKA.
The plant is located in El Salto, Jalisco, with the intention of boosting the regional economy and optimizing production and distribution due to its proximity to the port of Manzanillo. With a capacity to assemble up to half a million motorcycles per year, it aims to expedite product delivery and expand its presence in 16 states of the country.
The facilities of Ensamblika Guadalajara house the manufacturing of more than 50 models of motorcycles and ATVs of various displacements, in addition to having space to store up to 5,000 containers of raw materials annually. This project not only consolidates Grupo Salinas's leadership in the Mexican market but also promotes sectors such as transportation, logistics, engineering, and services, integrating small and medium-sized enterprises into the supply chain.
The implementation of modern technologies such as torque control and traceability by serial number at the plant ensures the quality of each assembled motorcycle, demonstrating Grupo Salinas's commitment to excellence. The impact of the plant goes beyond production, as it also promotes the growth of other sectors and businesses in the region, contributing to the economic development of Jalisco.
